Industrie 4.0 in Germany – Korean Delegation see for themselves

This week, a delegation from Korea came to pay it’s OWL a visit. Both parties had already met at Hannover Messe this year and decided to intensify the contact. The group was composed of industry representatives, academia experts and government deputies who wanted to learn more about cluster building and the Industrie 4.0 landscape in Germany.

After getting an in-depth inside into the strategy and mechanisms of the technology network it’s OWL from managing director Günter Korder, the group learned about our brand new project KI-Marktplatz. The afternoon brought a fascinating insight into CLAAS, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of agricultural machinery.

On the next day, GEA Westfalia Separator Group welcomed the group to their facilities in Oelde and presented the vast variety of digital solutions that are being applied throughout their product range. Won Ju Park, Director of Korea Industry 4.0 Association, was impressed by the intense cooperation culture in OWL and took away lots of learnings. A visit to the it’s OWL joint stand at Hannover Messe 2020 is already planned. Annyeong!
