With our novel Smart Sensor Integration Framework (dmc-ssi), we want to help you with data collection and make you fit for the industry of the future.
The dmc-ssi aims to collect the status quo of your data, for example from your production, and make it available to you for further analysis. Only if you have a holistic overview of the status of the machines is it possible for you to also react to them promptly and intelligently or to carry out evaluations using machine learning or AI.
With our framework, we rely on both - the input from the machine itself and the input from additional or retrofitted, external sensors on the machine. Here, it is possible to tailor the sensor landscape as well as necessary infrastructure to meet their needs.
Our system forwards the collected data via a secure data tunnel from your machine to a remote manager. There the data is sorted and stored in a time series based database. Now you have the possibility to forward the data via different interfaces to an analysis platform of your choice.
In addition, the dmc-ssi offers a device management, with which you can remotely administer the individual infrastructure elements of the solution.
Do you not have your own analysis tools? Then you can also use the data visualization and monitoring functions provided via the Remote Manager. At this point, an alert function makes it possible to prevent impairment of the operating process through early detection of a specific error pattern (keyword: predictive maintenance). On request, we also offer individual data evaluation and analysis options.
Our system can be configured in many ways according to your requirements. For example, you can start and stop individual sensors at runtime, set transmission rates for data streams, and configure a role and rights system for access to data and devices.
Due to predefined sensor implementations and integrated protocols, a unique selling point of our solution is the fast integration of any additional sensor technology.
At the Hannover Messe 2023 we will present an exemplary setup of our dmc-ssi. For this purpose, we will exhibit a small robot arm, representative for a machine integrated into the production, as well as further environmental sensors. These are connected to our sensor framework. So we can present all data and described functions live.
