Datenfabrik.NRW
We design AI solutions for production and logistics today for tomorrow
What will the production of tomorrow look like and how can a manufacturing of the future be designed that is robust, sustainable and flexible?
Datenfabrik.NRW develops data-driven solutions that strike a chord with industry and set the course for the future. In this way, companies of today can properly build their production of tomorrow: with tools and technologies for logistics, operational production and factory planning. These are the three pillars of the data factory of the future.
Two specifically selected lighthouse projects show how artificial intelligence, big data and digitization can shape and secure the production of tomorrow.
With CLAAS Selbstfahrende Erntemaschinen GmbH and Schmitz Cargobull AG as industry partners, the research team is developing and piloting AI solutions that provide answers to industry challenges. The results are intended to have a groundbreaking effect like the beacon of a lighthouse - and reach companies throughout NRW.
An interactive production at the Hannover Messe
At the Hannover Messe, Datenfabrik.NRW is presenting an interactive production: visitors:inside can experience digital production and logistics on site using an exhibit and try it out for themselves directly. The booth unites all Transformation Areas and project partners of Datenfabrik.NRW. The exhibit, which is designed as a virtual factory, makes the above-mentioned aspects tangible in three-dimensional space with suitable digital support and thus allows visitors to immerse themselves directly in the world of data-driven production.
