The technology network includes businesses, universities, research institutes and organisations that are working together on the solutions of tomorrow. They pool their interests in it’s OWL e.V., an association which is the sole shareholder of it’s OWL Clustermanagement GmbH.

• Businesses
  commit significant resources to their involvement with the cluster and work with other cluster partners to implement innovation projects
   
• Universities & research institutes
  develop applied technologies that form the basis for product and process innovations
   
• Transfer partners
  support the spread of technologies and methods within the region
   
• Sponsor members
  are mostly small and medium-sized enterprises that are involved with the cluster’s technologies and methods through transfer programs
   
• Further partners
  are interested in the technology platform or support the Leading-Edge Cluster by promoting it through their own activities, but are not members of the association
